Project Overview

Didaquiz is a Swiss EdTech tool that lets teachers build interactive digital exercises — from fill-in-the-blanks to AI dialogues — using the open bitmark standard. Data is structured, portable, and platform-independent.

The Challenge

Design a new question type and learning experience that makes personalised, game-based learning actually usable for busy teachers.
Time limit: 24 hours.

The Problem I Focused On

Every student in a classroom learns differently. But teachers have one lesson plan for everyone — and no way to know who's struggling until the test is over.

Traditional e-learning platforms are either too rigid or too complex for teachers to personalise at scale.

What I Designed

A three-layer system connecting students, content, and teachers

What I Designed

A three-layer system connecting students, content, and teachers

For the student

Game-based question formats with embedded video, interactive maps, and immediate feedback after every answer. One question at a time — focused, not overwhelming.

For the student

Assign different question types and difficulty levels per student or per group — in a few clicks. The moment a student completes an exercise, the teacher sees their performance in real time. No waiting for test results. No guessing who needs help.

The feedback loop

Teacher sees results → adjusts the learning plan → assigns new content → student gets a personalised next step. The cycle closes instantly, not at the end of the week.
